Describe Yourself?
I'm the shy, quiet type who likes to keep to himself and sits behind a computer, TV, or book all day. Nothing pleases me better than sitting outside on a cool, peaceful, quiet day and just absorbing the beauty of nature and how everything acts in harmony with one another. That's not to say that I don't enjoy the company. I never judge a book by it's cover and can be friendly to anyone who is friendly in return. My mouth tends to keep itself quiet when I first get to meet someone, but it may start running non stop after I've learned more about them and feel comfortable. If I am not spending my days with friends or Phi Kappa Psi brothers, then I am watching one of my hundred DVDs, playing on the Xbox 360, or programming on the computer. Technology, science, and math always fascinated me as my mind can adapt to understanding things that are more logically. With only one more semester to go before I graduate with a degree in Computer Science, I hope to eventually move on and find a job that can link all three subjects together.
Any Interests / Activities?
Computers are my main interest, whether it is playing around with software, programming applications, web pages, and games, or upgrading it with a new video card or another hard drive.

Video Games are another important part of my life. 3D virtual worlds that allow you to experience an artificial life that you may never be able to live are enjoyable. And each year the games keep getting better and more realistic. Of course you can never forget some old school Mario or Zelda.

DVDs and Movies also catch my interest. I particular like movies with big displays of special effects, loud sound, and amazing action sequences. Sometimes I need to spend an hour skipping through all the good parts of movies to relax after a tough day.

Why Did You Join Phi Kappa Psi?
To be honest, I never had any interest in joining a fraternity. I was only interested in finishing college as fast as possible with decent grades. It wasn't till my Junior year that I happened to get a room at the Rowan Townhouses which I shared with three other people, Jeff Jiao, Bob Nagy, and Kyle Floyd, who were all from the Phi Kappa Psi fraternity. The three of them turned out to be a great group of guys as we mostly enjoyed playing Super Mario Kart on Kyle's Gamecube. They eventually introduced me to their brothers in the fraternity which is not composed of a certain type of crowd like jocks, nerds, etc. Instead the fraternity is composed of a diverse group of people, where everyone is accepted for who they are as an individual. This quality is what drew me to like and eventually become a brother of Phi Kappa Psi. In this world where I always feel separate and isolated because I might not be that attractive, smart, or skilled, in Phi Kappa Psi I feel equal, accepted, and appreciated.
Favorite Moment as a Brother?
Every moment I spend with brothers from Phi Kappa Psi are my favorite in some particular way. The Initiation ceremony for my pledge class where I was accepted as a brother by the fraternity followed by a night of celebration is probably the most important to me since it marked the beginning of the other moments I'll always remember that I shared with the fraternity. Winning the Greek Cup, participating in homecoming with Alpha Sigma Alpha, coming in second for Greek Week with Delta Phi Epsilon, going to Gettysburg to visit the first Phi Kappa Psi fraternity house, or wrapping Josh to a tree with plastic wrap are all important to me. Can't wait to see what else the future holds for me with Phi Kappa Psi.
