| Describe Yourself? |
| Old...
I do private tutoring and teacher training at The Princeton Review and have worked there since 1996. |
| Any Interests / Activities? |
| Many...ask me or Facebook me to see. |
| Why Did You Join Phi Kappa Psi? |
| I joined in 1991 at TSC (now TCNJ) because many people on my floor and other friends were rushing...I didn't know that I was planning to join until that semester; only after meeting everyone, especially the rush chairman whom became my big brother, did I realize why Phi Kappa Psi was the place for me.
I helped the group at Rowan in its initial stages as a colony advisor (alumni helper) from 1998-2000, and eventually its first chapter advisor from 2000-2002. I was given a bid to transfer my membership as a thank you for my service as well as an invite from the very same brothers whom I had helped to give the same if not better experience I had as an undergraduate - hence, I'm a dual citizen, born in one chapter but living in the other. And donations to both! |
| Favorite Moment as a Brother? |
| Becoming a member of the Order of the S.C., a secret society within our national Fraternity, in 2006...but I can't tell you what it means, other than to say it's worth every bit of the wait... |
| Any Additional Comments? |
| Make sure you spend time getting to know the people in the chapter - those whom are least like you on the outside actually have more in common with you than you think.
Enjoy your college days as they go too fast.
Honor and love the traditions and don't be afraid to make new ones happen.
Call your alumni, email them, invite them back to things.
If you're a rushee/parent of a Rowan student, going Greek is one thing, joining Phi Psi is another. Visit our national websites www.phikappapsi.com and www.pkpfoundation.org for more information on us. |
