| Congratulations to the Omicron Class and 103 Brothers! |

| We the New Jersey Epsilon Chapter of Phi Kappa Psi are very happy and proud to accept our new members of the Omicron class
James Hitscherich,
Jayson Gaffney, and
Greg Finn.
The Omicron class worked very hard in their six weeks of pledging and are three very
dedicated gentlemen. These three men truly represent Phi Kappa Psi and will make a very
genuine addition to the chapter. The Omicron class got a first look at the century brother
program in that they were pinned by the founding badges #1,#2, and #3! |

| As another semester comes to an end we must not forget this year's experiences so far for our fraternity. The three new brothers of the Omicron class, the American Leadership Academy in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, the implementation of the century brother program, and greek week with Theta Phi Alpha, all were memorable events which added to our reputation and brotherhood. This Spring '08 Newsletter will give you a better understanding of why Phi Kappa Psi are men of excellence. |

For Greek Week, each fraternity pairs up with a sorority of their choosing where both participate in a week filled with fun field and charity events, competitions and physical challenges. This year Phi Kappa Psi paired up with Theta Phi Alpha in an effort to come out on top. Though we only placed third over all we are proud to say that relations between our organizations have never been greater and we all look forward to the future and everything it has to offer. |

| Rowan University hosted a food drive event for all Greek organizations called "Cans Across the Pit" which attracted fraternities and sororities to donate as much canned food as possible to give to the Food Bank of Southern New Jersey. Awards were given out during the day of collection for those who could create a structure with their canned food that was either the heaviest, tallest, or most creative. Phi Kappa Psi won the most creative canned food structure for this event with a model of a pirate ship that both Nick Schaeffer and James Keller were there to help construct. A picture of our structure along with an article about the event appeared in the local Gloucester County Times to recognize the help from the Greek organizations for their donations of food. |

| On Saturday, September 30th during halftime of the football game with the Rowan Profs against Western Connecticut, both Phi Kappa Psi and Delta Phi Epsilon were awarded as the Greek Cup Champions. This date marks the first time that our fraternity has officially won the Greek Cup at Rowan University while also accepting a nice $500 check. This major acheivement was primarily due to the hard work and time all our brothers committed to the Glassboro community which earned us enough Greek points to win without even participating in Homecoming the previous year. |

| Just as a reminder for all Phi Kappa Psi brothers and those who may be interested in pledging with the fraternity in the near future, the Endowment Fund of Phi Kappa Psi is currently accepting applications for scholarships to help support your academic excellence in college. Currently there are four different scholarships one can apply for with each scholarship giving anywhere from $1000 to $4000. In order to be considered for any one of these scholarships a brother must complete an online application, send in transcripts from any schools they attended, and get two letters of recommendation. The deadline for the Fall semester is December 1. For more information about this and access to the online application go to the Endowment Fund of Phi Kappa Psi website. |

| The Phi Kappa Psi - New Jersey Epsilon official website has received a new look and design for the school year of 2006 - 2007. The site has carried over some of the original ideas from the previous site and added a few new ones such as a photo section, interactive forums which anyone is welcome to post on, and a survey to help us receive feedback from our visitors on whatever random question we may have. Frequent updates to these pages are expected to happen weekly, from new messages and headlines to new sections on the site to make your experience here more enjoyable and informative. Finally, special thanks are in order for Ryan Duca, who was the original creator of the website and responsible for putting the page on its own server, and Dan Marzin, who was the previous webmaster and helped to keep the pages running. |
